Protecting the environment

The operation of a pallet network is the most fuel and road usage efficient form of road transport available today. Freight is consolidated at our depots and hub before vehicles take to the road, ensuring our operations teams can make the most of the vehicle capacity. Our average vehicle fill is 90%, compared to 51% for conventional road haulage.

We also work on the principle that the nearest haulier collects and delivers the freight, so the number of miles travelled is significantly reduced, leading to lower emissions and a smaller carbon footprint.

Introducing the pallet network model to countries across Europe has seen communities benefit from reduced congestion on the road, less noise and lower emissions.
Supporting the community
Pall-Ex work with around 500 independent hauliers across the globe.
Many of our master and sub-licensees have been a part of their local communities for many years and are dedicated to supporting good causes.

Through sponsorship and fundraising, Pall-Ex Group and its stakeholders support local charities, community groups and sports teams. We’re also proud champions of our industry, educating local schools on road safety and inspiring the next generation to take up a career in logistics.
